Straightforward installation takes less than 5 minutes, which not only eliminates the direct cost of device integration, which typically ranges from $50 to $400 per vehicle, depending on project complexity and country.
It also helps to avoid additional costs, such as travel time and transport costs, when a vehicle needs to be taken to a telematics service provider. Furthermore, traditional GPS trackers can be complicated to install, requiring wiring and access to the car's internal components. But with FTM880 model, none of that is necessary. With its built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, the new model also offers advanced 'Crash Detection' and 'Crash Trace' features. These functionalities provide valuable insights before, during, and after a collision. It can also determine the direction of the crash, helping investigators and experts understand how it occurred and adding another layer of detail to accident reconstruction.
The collected data can be accessed through the insurer's software or dedicated telematics service provider platforms, supporting detailed accident reconstruction.
